Solar basics

Does solar work during brownouts?

A standard grid-tied system switches off during an outage for safety, so on its own it will not run your home in a brownout. If staying powered through outages matters to you, we build hybrid systems with battery storage that keep your essentials running when the grid goes down.

What happens when it's cloudy?

Your panels keep producing on cloudy days, just at a lower output than under full sun. Solar runs on daylight rather than heat, so overcast weather reduces how much you generate without stopping it. Your system is sized with everyday conditions in mind, not only perfect sunny days.

Can I still use Meralco?

Yes. Most of our residential systems are grid-tied, so they work right alongside your existing Meralco connection instead of replacing it. You use solar first and draw from the grid when you need to. Going fully off-grid is a different setup, closer to what our SulitMax Pro tier is built for.

How much can I really save?

It depends on your current bill, your usage, and the system that fits your home, so there is no single number that is true for everyone. The honest way to find out is to run your own figures: our free Ilaw Check calculator gives you a personalized before and after estimate in seconds, with no contact details needed.

Financing options

How long before ROI?

It varies with the size of your system, how much power you use, and whether you pay upfront or finance. Rather than quote a single payback period that might not match your situation, we walk you through the numbers for your actual bill and package during your free consultation.

What if I sell my house?

Solar is a long-term home improvement. The system normally stays with the property when you sell, and a paid-off setup can add to your home's value the way other quality upgrades do. If transferring the warranty to the new owner matters to you, ask us to confirm the specifics for your package.

Installation and warranty

How long is installation?

It depends on your system size and any electrical prep your home needs, so there is no fixed timeline. The work follows four clear steps: a free assessment, a clear proposal, licensed installation by our own team, and after-sales support. We give you a realistic schedule for your project once the assessment is done.

How long do panels last?

Quality panels are built to last for decades. Our packages carry tiered warranties, with coverage up to 25 years on our higher tier, and panels generally keep producing well beyond the life of a typical appliance. The exact coverage depends on the package you choose.
